Dean of Instruction - Paulette Brown
Ms. Paulette Brown serves as the Instructional Dean at Charles Baxter Leadership Academy, where she leads with purpose, clarity, and a deep commitment to student success. With over 20 years of experience in public education, Ms. Brown has held multiple roles, including assistant principal, educational diagnostician, instructional coach, and classroom teacher. Each role has shaped her holistic approach to instructional leadership and her belief that every student deserves access to high-quality teaching every day.
In her current role, Ms. Brown supports teachers through structured coaching cycles, collaborative PLCs, and lesson internalization practices that promote rigorous, aligned Tier 1 instruction. She works closely with leadership and content teams to ensure that instructional systems, data practices, and reteaching structures support all learners, especially in priority areas such as mathematics and literacy.
Beyond academics, Ms. Brown is passionate about cultivating a positive school culture where students and staff feel seen, valued, and empowered. She believes strong relationships, clear expectations, and shared leadership are the foundation for sustainable school improvement.
Ms. Brown is proud to serve the Baxter community and is excited about the growth and impact ahead in the 2025โ2026 school year.
