My name is Tiesha Sanders, and I am honored to serve as the 7th and 8th grade counselor at Baxter Jr. High. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Integrative Studies from the University of North Texas and my Master of Education in School Counseling from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.

This is my ninth year in education. I began my career as a 3rd grade teacher, where I served for six years before transitioning into school counseling at the elementary level for the past two years. I am excited to begin this new chapter at the secondary level and to continue supporting students in meaningful ways.

I believe middle school is a pivotal stage in a student’s journey, shaping not only their academic path but also their social and emotional growth. My commitment is to walk alongside our students, providing guidance, encouragement, and support as they discover their strengths, embrace challenges, and reach their fullest potential.
