Baxter Junior High School

Hello! My name is Michael Nunez, and I’m proud to serve as the 6th Grade Assistant Principal at Baxter Junior High School for the 2025–2026 school year. This is my ninth year in education, and I’m passionate about supporting students, families, and teachers as we work together for student success.

I taught in Grand Prairie ISD and Mansfield ISD before stepping into school leadership as a Primary School Dean at Uplift Education. Each of these experiences has helped shape my commitment to creating a safe, engaging, and supportive learning environment.

I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington and my Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Tarleton State University.
