Assistant Principal - Paulette Brown

Ms. Paulette Brown is excited to serve as assistant principal at Charles Baxter Junior High School for this school year, 22-23. Ms. Brown is a native Mississippian but moved to Texas in 1997, unknowingly, to start a career in education in the 2001-2002 school year at Hallsville Junior High School in Hallsville, TX. She has worked in alternative, general, and special education instructional settings. She has served as department chair, lead chemistry teacher, campus 504 coordinator, and an educational diagnostician at Everman ISD for the last four years. 

Ms. Brown holds certifications in Generic Special Education (Pk-12), Chemistry (8-12), and Gifted and Talented (Pk-12) for classroom teachers; professional certifications for Educational Diagnostician (EC-12), Principal (EC-12), Superintendent (EC-12), and Behavior Coach Endorsement through Region XIII.  

Having been in education for 21 years, she is an avid learner who works to apply her knowledge to create better outcomes for the students she serves and to assist others. Ms. Brown has a deliberative and strategic approach to ensuring purposeful and thoughtful decision-making.
